I received 11,500 in a bonus at my job and then the situation begin to compromise the safety of those I care for as a RN. I felt that it was in my best interest to seek other employment. By doing so, I had to pay back the 11,500 I received. Of''course I only received a portion of that money due to the amount of taxes taken out. I was wondering if the amount paid back to the company could be claimed on my taxes. If so how? If not is it a complete loss?
