Reply to glenn's Post: Hey Glenn;   I'm 60 yrs old and have applied for a job to manage a parking garage now under construction. I've been retired for a decade, have lots of management experience in the Supermarket Industry but not in parking garages. Hence,cash controls are a big deal in any cash business, so I'm asking about the cash control system common in gov't parking garages.
    If hired [I have a slight edge] I'll need to hire a staff and thats why the question about "typical pay scale for attendants" I asked about Associations because without a specific name I can't seem to contact one on the internet to learn about rules and regs, scheduleing practices, security needs, and the rest of the things I'll be expected to know. Since this is a new parking garage for a museum in Richmond Va.; I wise to hit the ground running and do a thorough job of preparation so the facility gets off on the right foot.
   Any other words to guide and help me prepare for the position would also be reflected in a bonus. Thanks for taking the extra interest you've already shown.
