im sorry but an air or sky marshall is a plain clothed armed guard that rides on planes under cover ! to protect them from terrorist hijacking!

where do i get hired to do this job and who does the hiring ..for airlines opperating in the u.k.??in cluding british airways ..please do not answer by refering me to specific airline carreer sites..i can do that myself..

I have decided to weigh in on this apparent challenging question.

Metropolitan Police's Specialist Training Centre in Gravesend, Kent is the primary trainer of sky marshalls for flights orginating out of the UK.

The primary candidates for the sky marshall program are former and current law enforcement persons, including active police officers.

The primary trainer and head of the sky marshall training program is: Jean Charles de Menezes.

The UK sky marshall program is not currently handled by private agencies. This is because it is still conroversial in the UK with Airlines Industry being largely non-voluntary participants.

In the UK, the sky marshall program is an extension of official law enforcement. You need to contact the training center to see if you can take the traiing and eventually joine the force.
